Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Casablanca, visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque (exterior visit), one of the largest in the world. Continue to the capital, Rabat. Explore the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.
Depart for Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Discover Bab Mansour gate, the granaries, and El Hedim square. Then visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Fez for the night.
Explore the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco with a guided tour of Fez. Visit the medieval medina, Bou Inania Madrasa, the Karaouine Mosque (oldest university), and the famous tanneries. Overnight in Fez.
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane (the "Switzerland of Morocco") and the cedar forests of Azrou. Lunch in Midelt, then drive through the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.
