This trek is considered moderate to challenging, with long walking days and steep ascents, especially on the way to Mount Toubkal's summit. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
While prior trekking experience is not mandatory, it is helpful. Beginners with good physical fitness can complete the trek with determination.
The best times for this trek are spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) when the weather is mild and the trails are most accessible. Summer is also an option, though temperatures can be warm at lower elevations. Winter treks are possible but require additional preparation for snow and cold conditions.
