Next, you’ll visit the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis, known for their well-preserved mosaics and historical importance. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue to Fez, where you’ll spend the night.

Today is dedicated to exploring the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. You'll wander through the labyrinthine streets of Fez’s medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Al-Qarawiyyin University (the oldest in the world), the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the colorful tanneries. You’ll also have the chance to visit artisan workshops and experience traditional Moroccan crafts. Overnight stay in Fez.

After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou. You’ll continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and kasbahs. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, you'll ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a magical night under the stars in a traditional Berber desert camp.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, you’ll head to the stunning Todra Gorges, known for their dramatic cliffs that rise up to 300 meters. The journey continues through the Dades Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs until you reach Ouarzazate, a city famous for its film studios and ancient kasbahs. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

In the morning, you’ll visit the famous ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic filming location.
