Itinerary

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forests – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Start at 8 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel in Fez. Visit Ifrane, known for its alpine charm and Atlas Lion statue, then explore the cedar forests and spot Barbary macaques. Stop for lunch in peaceful Midelt before crossing the vast palm groves of Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga for welcome tea and enjoy a stunning desert sunset. Dinner and overnight stay near the dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Nomadic Families – Overnight in Desert Camp

After breakfast, explore the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi. Meet a nomadic family and discover their traditions, then visit the fossil-rich Tissardmin Oasis. Enjoy tea and live Gnawa music in Khamlia village. In the afternoon, ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset. Spend the night in Berber tents under the stars with a tasty dinner and peaceful Sahara vibes.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fez

Start the day early to catch a beautiful sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel. Enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley and stop for lunch in Midelt. Pass through the cedar forests again before arriving back in Fez around 6 p.m., with drop-off at your hotel.
